Paperwork You Will Need In order to move the application process along as quickly as possible, you will need to have the following information at hand. A TVA credit report and court records report (supplied by The Apartment Store). A letter of employment. Several pay stubs. A letter of referral from a past landlord (optional but very helpful). A letter of personal reference. 3 months of checking account statements. Current tax returns. A guarantor letter, if required. If self employed you will need a letter from your accountant or attorney that states your current earnings. Not every landlord requires all of the above.
